Studio 20 Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Studio 20. By booking and submitting payment, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Booking and Payment Policy

  • Booking Confirmation: RENTER agrees to pay in full at the time of booking at the advertised rate. Payment must be made in full to guarantee your reservation.

  • Overtime Policy: Additional time is billed at the same rate per hour as the initial booking and must receive prior approval from the studio manager. You must be COMPLETELY wrapped by the end of your booking. If you are still shooting or wrapping up by the time your booking ends, you will be charged a $150 Overtime Fee.

  • Cleaning Fee: A cleaning fee of $150-250 will be billed if the studio requires significant cleaning.

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be done at least 48 hours ahead of the booking for a full refund, otherwise RENTER agrees to forfeit their booking payment.

Usage and Conduct

  • Studio Use: RENTER agrees to use the studio for legal purposes only. The studio is not to be used for any illegal activities.

  • Premises Condition: RENTER agrees to keep the premises and all items in good order and good condition and to immediately pay for costs to repair and/or replace any portion of the premises damaged by RENTER, their guests, and/or invitees. At the end of the booking, all items shall be returned in clean and good condition except for reasonable wear and tear.

  • Illegal Drugs and Smoking: RENTER agrees to keep the premises free of illegal drugs and to refrain from smoking indoors.

Insurance and Liability

  • Insurance: RENTER acknowledges that OWNER'S insurance does not cover personal property damage caused by fire, theft, acts of God, acts of others, and/or any other causes. RENTER is advised to obtain their own insurance policy to cover any personal losses.

  • Risk and Liability: RENTER agrees to use the space at their own risk. OWNER is not responsible for any physical injuries caused to RENTER while RENTER is on the premises.

  • Indemnity: Lessee agrees to hold Lessor harmless and indemnify Lessor in the event of theft, injury, or other loss or damage arising from usage of Lessor's facilities or equipment.

Right of Entry and Inspection

  • Inspection: OWNER may enter, inspect, and/or repair the premises at any time. OWNER is permitted to make all alterations, repairs, and maintenance that in OWNER'S judgment is necessary to perform. RENTER acknowledges the studio is under 24-hour security video surveillance.

Studio Rules

  • Cyclorama Wall: Do not stand on the curve of the Cyclorama wall.

  • Capacity: Maximum 12 people allowed in the studio per reservation.

  • No Smoking: No smoking is allowed inside the studio.

  • No Parties: Parties are not allowed on the premises.

  • Security: Keep doors shut and locked at all times.

  • Restricted Areas: Do not enter staff-only areas.

  • Setup and Cleanup: Rental start and end times are inclusive of setup and cleanup.

  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older. Minors must have adult supervision.

  • Photographer Limit: Limit of 1 photographer per booking.

  • Content Restrictions: No offensive or discriminative productions are allowed.

Facilities and Equipment

  • Condition: Studios are rented on an "as is" basis. Painting of the cyclorama (cyc wall) is available prior to your shoot for a fee.

  • Hazardous Substances: No hazardous substances or materials shall be brought on the premises without written permission from Lessor.

Remedies

  • Cost Reimbursement: Lessee agrees to reimburse Lessor for all costs and expenses of collection of any amounts owed under this, or any other agreement Lessee has entered into with Lessor, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney's fees, penalty fees, and continuing rental and late charges plus interest.
